A lean, sinuous figure crouches atop a mound of skulls and bone, rendered almost entirely in cool jade and olive greens against a hazy, sunlit backdrop. Bat-like wings, ribbed and membranous, sweep up and back from her shoulders, echoing the curve of her spine as she leans forward on clawed, hoofed feet, one clawed hand raised delicately near her mouth. Her face is sharply painted - a red-striped mask-like pattern across the brow, wild pale hair streaming sideways - giving her an expression that reads as watchful and faintly predatory rather than overtly monstrous. The loose, wash-heavy background, all soft-edged blues and golds, contrasts with the tighter, more deliberate linework used for her anatomy, a technique Bisley leaned on often to keep a single figure crisp against an atmospheric, almost abstract setting. The skull pile beneath her is rendered small and simplified, more a compositional base than a point of horror in itself, letting the figure's silhouette - wings, tail, raised claw - carry the entire image. It's a fantasy pin-up in the classic mould of demon-woman illustration that ran through much of Bisley's non-strip work in the 1990s and 2000s, part gargoyle, part succubus, designed as a stand-alone character study rather than a scene from any particular narrative - a creature clearly built to be looked at rather than to be read as part of a story.
